Family Ministries
Mission Statement
I will honor God by fostering an environment where we effectively live life together as a true family of God. To do this the ministry must minister to the parts and the whole. The whole includes the people who worship and the place of worship. The parts of the people are the men, women, marriages, young adults and children. The parts of the place include the sanctuary, the grounds, the teen center, the kitchen, the fellowship hall, the castle room, classrooms and bathrooms. A family works together to keep their house neat, clean and presentable for themselves and visitors to enjoy and feel comfortable in. A family also works together to make that house a home. That can only happen as the Bible states in Ephesians 4:1-6 with unity, love, humility, patience and peace.
A family is a group of people related to each other by birth, adoption or marriage.
We are therefore related by:
Birth
“Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.
I John 5:1 NKJV
Adoption
“he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—”
Ephesians 1:5 NIV
Marriage
“Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.””
Revelation 19:9 NKJV
“..live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

Men’s Ministry- Rock Solid
We are dedicated to reaching, building, and challenging men toward godliness. As we gather, we share each others joys, hurts, struggles, and seek to encourage one another through the scriptures. We believe that the men will be equipped to live godly through prayer, teaching of the Word, and fellowship. The men will love the Lord and lead by example in their homes as well as in their daily lives.
“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought you. Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Psalms 119:9-11

Children’s Ministry - Living Stone which consist of Sands, Pebbles & Rocks
Children are a blessing from the Lord indeed! And it is important that we are good stewards of these tiny blessings. Our children are being bombarded on a daily basis with this world’s system through TV, music, and many other outside influences. It is essential that we play our part in teaching and training them up in the ways of the Lord so that they will then come to know the Lord personally, realize the purpose for which they were created, and seek to please Him with their lives.
Our “Living Stones”are taught the bible in a fun, loving environment
through stories, songs, crafts and games so that it’s enjoyable.
“Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 2:4-5

Which consist of ministries like the information table, ushers and greeters, fellowship hour, pastry pickups, van pick ups, grounds and cleaning.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
